Create your off-the-grid strategy in easy steps. This workshop includes an introduction to the Quarter Mile Housing Solution, Tiny Homes and living off-the-grid in British Columbia - and beyond!

Section 2: Living within a Small Footprint

This workshop provides an overview that helps you create an off-the-grid strategy that will work for you, your family and the planet. Begin to design your Tiny House, natural home and small footprint lifestyle. We address the why, what, when, and how of the Shelter Revolution.

Build a Quarter Mile Home - A three day hands-on workshop that will teach you how to plan, source and construct an off-the-grid Tiny House using natural material. Learn how to source 80% of your “natural” building materials within a quarter mile of your building site. Learn, plan and build in the forest while your camping under a canopy of trees. We will be showing participants how to homestead in the 21st century though hands on experiences building with logs and other natural material.
$425 per person includes camping and accommodation.

The second installment of our Shelter Revolution Workshop Series. This course is called, “The Quarter Mile Shelter Revolution” which is about “Re-Earthing your life by creating your home within the Forest Grid”. This is a four and half day workshop series where you will learn how to source 80% of your “natural” building materials within a quarter mile of your building site. Learn, plan and build in the forest while your camping under a canopy of trees. We will be showing participants how to homestead in the 21st century though hands on experiences building with logs and other natural material. This series is filled with insightful and extensive information you’ll need to design and build your very own tiny or off-the-grid home, while setting you on the path to a more simplified, environmentally friendly, economically balanced life-style. We take a wildcrafting approach to small footprint living and you’ll get to meet many other like-minded people in a fun and engaging setting.

You have a choice of dates: June 15th to 19th or June 21st to 25th 2015. Don’t miss this – it will be an extraordinary experience and it will follow our “Re-Earthing” Permaculture Design Course. You can sign up for the entire four and a half day workshop series, or you can enroll in one or more of the three sections. The Course is held at the Wildcraft Forest and you will be emailed a pre-course package in advance of the course and there is free RV parking and camping available on site.
