The WildCraft Forest is an Ecomuseum and interpretive forest, which includes a Wild Tea Plantation and Sculpture Trail. We're located on Highway 6 in the Monashee Region of British Columbia just on the edge of the North Okanagan, one hour from Kelowna and 30 minutes from Vernon, between Lumby and Cherryville.
Visitors can walk the trails of the forest within guided tours, which can take about two hours at a leisurely stroll. The interpretation mixes art forms displayed along the trail system with descriptions of the natural flora, fauna and wildlife habitat. Descriptions of food and medicinal uses from the forest as well as the historical presence of First Nations and pioneer settlement are described along the trail system.

The WildCraft Forest is home to an Arts and Crafts Village. The Village is at the entrance to the WildCraft Forest Sculpture Trail and is located on a lovely rural meadow; surrounded by trees and spectacular hillside scenery, which includes a stunning view of the mountain, we call Coyote Sleeping.

Our unique studios and galleries live in harmony with the lush natural environment where giant Ponderosa Pines stand in testimony to the care taken in preserving the timeless beauty of the WildCraft Forest. It would be hard to find more beautiful surroundings anywhere to create a relaxing and unique shopping experience.
The Sculpture Trail is open from late Spring to the end of December. Over 25 innovative contemporary artworks grace the paths and tracks of this scenic woodland. National and international artists exhibit alongside local schools and community groups.  The trail covers over 20 acres of land, which is surrounded by thousands of acres of mainly densely wooded areas rich in diverse vegetation and wildlife.

We grow and wildcraft herbs and other products at the WildCraft Forest. During the spring summer and fall we have a teahouse with an outdoor gift and farm market that visitors can browse through. We also offer interpretive walks and workshops all about wildcrafting and natural foods.
About Wildcrafting
Wildcrafting is the practice of harvesting and using wild materials for food, construction and craft. The kinds of things people might find are mushrooms, driftwood, flowers, feathers, rocks, shells, grains, saps, quills, clay, wicker, burls, seaweed, weeds, nuts, food, herbs, berries, seeds, cones, roots, bark, dye, antlers, fur, bones, leather, teeth, mosses and ferns. And, that list is just a good start. Wildcrafting is the art of using 'found' materials.

We offer guided tours of our wild tea plantation. Enjoy our wildcrafted tea blends after a stoll under a natural canopy of green.
